Senior Health Care Assistant (Sponsorship)
We are recruiting compassionate and dedicated Senior Healthcare Assistants (SHCAs) to work for our client at their care home in Guildford, UK.
This role is particularly suited to candidates with nursing experience in Nepal healthcare environments who are seeking to begin their healthcare career in the UK as a Senior Healthcare Assistant. Sponsorship is available for eligible applicants, with full training and support provided to help you transition into UK care standards.
About the Role
1. Personal Care Assistance
-
Support residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.

Assist with safe mobility, transfers, and use of mobility aids.
2. Health & Well-Being Support
-
Observe and report changes in residents’ health to senior staff.

Assist with medication prompts or administration under supervision, in line with care plans.
3. Mealtime & Nutrition Support
-
Serve and assist residents during mealtimes.

Ensure hydration and dietary requirements are met.
4. Companionship & Social Support
-
Provide emotional support, reassurance, and companionship.

Encourage participation in activities and social interaction.
5. Household & Care Home Support
-
Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Assist with light housekeeping tasks to support resident comfort.
6. Documentation & Communication
-
Accurately record daily care activities and observations.

Communicate effectively with colleagues, residents, and management.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Previous nursing experience in Nepal (hospital, clinic, or community care).

Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for resident care.

Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and team structures.
Preferred (Training Provided if Needed):

NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (UK equivalent).

Care Certificate, First Aid, or CPR certification.

Experience with elderly care, dementia, or palliative care.
